it is getting more and more intense! who will win the 2010 world cup? we dont know either. come join us in the world cup freeze happening 26th june 2010!

the purpose of the flash mob is to experience this international phenomena happening in malaysia!

Important info for every participants . ..Please kindly read it :D

"Please be informed that we'll be expecting you guys at Starhill (the construction area there) for a short meeting on 26th June (Saturday) at 2pm! Please Please be there as we will be giving the last briefing before the actual Flash Mob! We have tested out several variations of the beginning and ending of the flash mob. All details would be given out during that briefing. Also! Please try out some poses related in any way to football, whether you can hold it for 4 minutes or not. Lastly, dress code is any sports attire, best if jerseys.


The actual flashmob will start at 3pm SHARP
On the day, at Starhill, our people will be wearing several red wristband on the left hand. Please proceed to them :D We don't bite.

Rules and Regulation to be followed for the World Cup Freeze Flashmob :D

Something is around the corner...Can anyone guess what it is??

it is a flash mob! calling all flash mobbers or potential flash mobbers, please attend this! It is something that you will not want to miss! Dress up in world cup jerseys, paint your face (optional) and freeze together! We are 1 Malaysia!

Venue: Pavilion, In front of La Bodega!
Time: 3 pm Sharp!

RULES to be followed:
o No obscene poses, Malaysian standard.
o No actual kicking on footballs before/during/after the flash mob event, only use them as props if you bring them.
o Let the public take pictures of you/with you if they want, just don't move.
o All participants are responsible to safeguard own properties and belongings.
o No shouting before/during/after the mob.
o Female participants are advised to freeze in groups with at least another guy freezer nearby.
o No communicating with each other and passer-bys. (No laughing etc. etc.)
o Avoid eye contact with them. (stare blankly at one spot is the best!)
o No movements during freezes (as stiff as possible)
o No miniskirt or exposing clothing.
o Strictly no littering.
o Participants should disperse quickly and promptly.
o Self-defense actions are allowed if troublemakers take advantage of you freezing (e.g. molesting)
o Participants hold their own responsibilities IF they break the rules and get caught by the authority.
o Last but not least, have fun doing it!

Attention Flash Crowds

I know you have been waiting for the BIG day to come, you will not want to miss the most happening flash mob in town. In conjunction of the World Cup event, we are going to organize World Cup Freeze flash mob. Get excited and come experience "world cup" with us. The followings are a brief introduction of the most happening 2010 FIFA World Cup.

2010 FIFA World Cup going to held in South Africa is of as much enthusiasm and fun. It is the 19th FIFA World Cup, which is from 11th June 2010 to 11th July 2010. 32 teams participate in this World Cup.

The slogan - "Ke Nako". "Celebrate Africa's Humanity" - was revealed by the chairman of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee South Africa, Irvin Khoza in Durban, South Africa. "Ke Nako" means simply it's time. It’s time for the soccer world to see South Africa. It's time to understand the benefits and the potential in this great land, for the sport world and for the 21st century. Because of their passion for the beautiful game, their outstanding players over the years and a perfect destination for soccer fans, the people of South Africa believe that Africa's time has come not only to stage the soccer fest, but also to use the 2010 FIFA World Cup to change perceptions of Africa and reposition the continent in a positive light with South Africa as the theater and Africa the stage.

What is flash mob, who are we?

Flash mob, something that is very new, you probably heard of it, but what is is exactly? a bunch of people just want to have fun? or a bunch of strangers meeting at a specific venue?

According to Wikipedia, flash mob is a group of people, who appear suddenly in somewhere, doing an unusual action or sometimes, a pointless act, then quickly disperse!
Some examples of successful flash mobs are pillow fights, zombie walk, Glee, Michael Jackson tribute....etc

We, a bunch of young adults are doing a world cup flash mob, in conjunction with the world cup! if you are wondering, why world cup? because, it only happens once in four years! thus, come celebrate with us! After all, all work no play make jack a dull boy!
